17. The Price of Everything.

We saw The Price of Everything (Nathaniel Kahn, 2018), a documentary about the art world. It focuses on some of the artists, collectors, gallerists, historians, and especially the people at the auction houses who make the art world the money-crazed scene it is (or is understood to be) today.

Afterwards Chris and Michael had a chat about art and late capitalism but mostly art.

Kahn’s older documentary is My Architect. One of the less well known artists we mention is Larry Poons.
